NetID Password: How To Change it If You Can Log Into Email

IMPORTANT:  You will be autonotified via email when your password is about to expire.  These emails are legitimate; they do not require that you respond to them or click on any links.

Steps

1. Sign in to https://portal.office.com with your Downstate account.

2. Click on your initials located in a circle at upper right and choose "View account".

3. Click on "UPDATE INFO" located within the Security Info box.

4. Click on "Change" at the right side of the Password row.

5. Enter the new password and click on Submit.
