Installing the Panopto Client

The Panopto Client application is installed on the computers of all major lecture halls and classrooms, but it's also available for you to install on your personal computer.
Panopto Client can only be installed if you are enrolled in a course in Blackboard Learn as an Instructor or Teaching Assistant. Regular users, such as students, will not see the download link.
Panopto Client is available for Mac and PC.
Go to the Downstate Panopto web site (https://sunydownstate.hosted.panopto.com)
Login using your Downstate NetID user name and password
Click the green Create button to the top-left of the Panopto window.
Select the Panopto for Mac or Panopto for Windows option.
Select the installer appropriate for your operating system.
