Getting Started with Adobe Express for Students

Adobe Express is a web-based design tool for creating graphics, videos, flyers, presentations and more — perfect for academic projects, student organizations or personal use.

Step 1: Sign In

  1. Go to https://www.adobe.com/express.

  2. Click Sign in in the top right corner.

  3. Enter your @downstate.edu email address.

  4. If prompted, choose Company or School Account (not personal).

  5. You will be redirected to the SUNY Downstate sign-in page. Use your campus credentials to log in.

Step 2: Access Your License

  • Once signed in, your account is automatically linked to SUNY Downstate’s license

  • You’ll have full access to Adobe Express features at no cost

  • No additional codes or installations are needed

Step 3: Start Creating

  • From the Home dashboard, you can:

    • Design flyers, posters and presentations

    • Create short videos and animated graphics

    • Build social media posts with templates

    • Use stock photos, icons and fonts included with your license

Step 4: Save & Share

  • Projects are saved automatically to your Adobe account.

  • You can export as PDF, PNG or MP4 for easy sharing.

  • Share links directly with classmates or faculty for collaboration.
