R / RStudio: Statistical Software and Editor
R is a statistics-focused programmable language and integrated series of tools for data analysis, modelling and display/graphics.
RStudio is an integrated development environment (IDE) or "editor" for running R and Python code. R Studio is available for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
Both R and RStudio are open-source. R is available under the GNU General Public License. An open source version of RStudio is available for Posit Software.
