ExamSoft Secure Assessment System
The College of Medicine uses the application Examplify by Examsoft for some of their secure assessments.
Whether using a campus or personal computer, Examplify blocks access to the network, to other software, and features like printing or copy/paste.
How it Works
Student records are imported into Examplify to create user accounts. A registration e-mail and link is automatically emailed to all users.
Students can download the Examplify installer to their personal laptop.
When taking a test, a question file is securely downloaded to the user's computer. Examplify will lock down the computer, disconnecting it temporarily from the network while the exam is running.
All answers are saved on the local machine. Upon submission of the test, connectivity is restored and an encrypted file uploaded to an Examsoft server.
